Roadmap
AVRD is built by one person, so this is the honest order things are being worked in rather than a delivery commitment. Dates are not promised, and priorities move when enough people ask for something.
A cleaner export with the plan view, seating count and sightline notes laid out for an integrator to quote from.
Next update
Send a room to a colleague or installer as a link rather than an attachment.
Next update
Keep more than one room, and pick up where you left off from another machine.
Next update
Place a camera or video bar in the room and see how it sits against the display.
Following update
See what the camera actually frames, and who at the table falls outside it.
Following update
Mark the near and far limits for a readable screen so seat positions can be checked at a glance.
Following update
Screens on more than one wall, for rooms that are used in more than one direction.
Following update
Pick actual displays, mounts and video bars with verified sizes rather than generic boxes.
Later
Bring in an existing drawing instead of typing the room in by hand.
Much later
Place a lectern at the front of the room, with an optional presenter standing at it so you can see the floor a speaker actually takes.
Sept 2026
Boardroom, U-shape, classroom, theatre and huddle layouts that furnish the room you have in one press.
Aug 2026
Conference, task, executive, auditorium, stool and soft seating, each with its own real dimensions and seat height.
Aug 2026
Rectangular, oval, boat-shaped, round, U-shape, classroom desk and coffee table, with chairs that follow the shape.
Aug 2026
Sit at any seat at eye height and look at the nearest screen, stepping between chairs with the arrows.
Aug 2026
Small, medium and large starting sizes, plus a reset that puts the whole design back to scratch.
Aug 2026
Every setting in one panel split into Room, Table, Displays, People and Extras, with more space for the model itself.
Aug 2026
Walls fade as the camera moves behind them, so the room stays readable from any angle.
Jul 2026
Openings on any wall, with a door's swing checked against the table and chairs.
Jul 2026
Scale figures you can seat around the table, with sightlines measured from a seated eye height.
